Trapezium Online Gallery

The images presented in this exhibition are a culmination of the last 12 months, throughout which I have been determined to stay positive and creative. I have developed my artistic skills as a Photographer and Digital Artist, using my photography as a medium to create and present my artistic vision in a distinctive style.

My aim is to create depth using original photographs and blending textures to allow elements in the pieces to reveal themselves over time. Layering gives the images a surreal quality. I don’t necessarily want my pieces to make sense. I am happy with fanciful, something that gives flight to the imagination and gives cause to question. I take my inspiration from nature, historical architecture and coastal scenery. Reading, listening to music and watching TV can all spark ideas.
